The IMM project is simple: in two years students will gain a Masters degree in Mathematics, taught by prestigious faculty from pre-eminent institutions worldwide. IMM graduates are now pursuing fully funded PhD degrees in many countries including the US and Europe. Others are pursuing more advanced Master’s programmes leading to PhDs.
OUR COURSES
IN IMM, WE STUDY MATH
Our semester-long courses are taught by a small team of pre-eminent international teaching faculty who are fully involved in the design and delivery of the courses alongside faculty at host institutions. Local faculty deliver one third of the course with the main teaching delivered by two visiting international faculty, who visit the host institution for a total of four weeks intensive teaching. International faculty also supervise Masters’ Theses and provide connected, ongoing support as students continue their research journey.

Despite being one of the most cost-effective Masters and Capacity Building programmes you can imagine, funding is always an issue and the IMM needs your support to cover student fellowships and other essential running costs. Our long-time supporters, the London Mathematical Laboratory, is running a crowdfunding campaign on behalf of IMM.
